David Hawkins w/ Elliott Delman & Terry Moran

David Hawkins (vocals, guitar), Elliott Delman (guitar and elfin spirit), Terry Moran (guitar, vocals, “Blazin’ Steel”)

Singer-Songwriter/Contemporary Folk/Alternative Country

Singer-Songwriter David Hawkins has gotten here by way of Detroit, Tulsa, New Orleans, and Chicago, and he has picked up musical flavors wherever he has lived. His songs are both tough and gentle, distilled in a place where flesh and spirit meet and where one’s soul is on the line. They are songs of Love, Hope, Death, Loss, a splash of Whiskey, and an echo of the Divine.

He has released three CDs: Everything That Brought You Here (2014), Hello Mr. Death & Other Love Songs (2012), and Driven to the Strings(2007). His music has received airplay on folk stations throughout the US and Europe. Most recently, he recorded a guest-host spot to be aired in late February on WFMT’s Sweet Folk Chicago.

I'm excited to return to The Coffee House on Chestnut & Pine (the most joyous place for music in southern Wisconsin), this time with my buddies Elliott Delman, guitarist extraordinaire, and Terry "Blazin' Steel" Moran, extraordinary guitarist (who will bring his newly released CD). We will do covers & Hawkins originals. I would also like to introduce some of Terry's songs to the ears of Burlington. So bring your ears on over and join us. We'll warm your hearts on a cold night. - See more at:
