Description :  A relative newcomer on the live music scene, singer-songwriter Bill Liggett will be performing his  progressive, original folk music on ___ at ___. Known for his inimitable ability to fuse the genuine, heartfelt appeal of Americana with traditional melodic elements of jazz and blues, Liggett will be joined by his band Ruddy Nickel, which includes Larry Sell on harmonica, vocal harmonies, and percussion, and special guest Chris Sipos on bass guitar and mandolin.

To experience Liggett’s music is akin to discovering a buried treasure. Working tirelessly at composing  songs for  well over a decade now, Liggett brings his music into the light of day with witty, original lyrics that intersect seamlessly with his equally lively and idiosyncratic finger-picking guitar style and crisp vocals. The songs are born of his life’s experiences and of his metaphorical interpretations of the stories of the people who have surrounded him. Their magic embraces relationships, perseverance, community, love, and humility.
