This place has some of the BEST food, pastries, etc. that I've ever enjoyed for breakfast & lunch. I'm not from Burlington, but I spent a lot of time there leading up to my wedding at Mercantile Hall (which is right across the street). Whenever I was in town (meeting with a vendor, touring the venue, dress shopping, makeup trial, etc. etc.), I always stopped at The Coffee House. Literally—the best bagels I've had outside of NYC. We also catered from here the morning of our wedding for both the groomsmen (who got ready up the street at Low Daily) and the bridesmaids (who were right across the street at Mercantile Hall). Everything was SO tasty, and Emma made the catering/delivery process so easy. The space is charming & cozy, and even though I live in Chicago with hundreds of coffee shops nearby, I find a little piece of myself craving & missing The Coffee House!

Very charming cozy place to stop and relax, in a vintage setting. Sandwiches and salads are unique and delicious - coffee, excellent. Perfect midday break

Really good coffee, breakfast items, and bakery. Great location and wonderful atmosphere. There is a strong sense of community to this place- can't wait to stop in again. I always appreciate when what's brewing doesn't require any doctoring because it's good. This light roast was brewed correctly and tasted delicious black. By far some of the best coffee we have had in the area.
