Description: Lara Bell is a rising singer/songwriter from the northern Illinois area. Born and raised with country roots, she is a natural songbird. She’s performed numerous live shows between Chicagoland and Southern WI at various known venues since she was 16 years old. No stranger to The Coffee House stage, she is thrilled to share her stories through songs in such an organic atmosphere in one of her favorite towns. She is an accomplished musician of classical piano, guitar, and ukulele. Raining with innocence, Lara brings a freshness to the music industry with her romantic honesty; she has been writing for 7 years and has a few singles available online. Plans of an album are in store for the near future. Her genre diversity captures the crowd's attention. Able to adapt to many styles, audience members have compared Lara's music to Jewel, Miranda Lambert, Brandi Carlile, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Dylan, amongst others. In fall 2018, she is performing as “Amy March” in Town Square Players Broadway musical, “Little Women” at the Woodstock Opera House, and recording more original songs for an upcoming album. Lara has promising plans of recording and releasing more music, plus traveling to new places/venues to expand her career as a growing independent artist, and hopefully hit up music city, Nashville itself, over the next few months.
